A Double-crested Cormorant does it's thing as the Sun peeks through the clouds near dusk.
 Shot near Stonington, CT. I took about 10 shots of this guy, but this bird moved too much in every shot except this one. It too would have been a total loss if not for the magic of Lightroom 2. The noise looks like film grain, so I left it rather than clean it up and risk ruining the shot even more. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
