A Double-crested Cormorant does it's thing as the Sun peeks through the clouds near dusk.
Shot near Stonington, CT. I took about 10 shots of this guy, but this bird moved too much in every shot except this one. It too would have been a total loss if not for the magic of Lightroom 2. The noise looks like film grain, so I left it rather than clean it up and risk ruining the shot even more.
