Last week I took a hike in one of the state forests and came across this white fern. I'm guessing that ferns turn white before they turn brown if they don't get hit by frost.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
